R&D Services
Contract R&D
We offer a full range of contract R&D services including raw polymer characterization to processing, from prototyping to final testing. Our R&D capabilities in polymer processing allow conventional polymer processing of a single polymer to a novel coextrusion processing to create nanoscale structures with thousands of layers. A state-of-the-art material testing laboratory allows to investigate structure-property relationships.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT : Using full suite of our laboratory we can work with your requirements to identify materials, define DOE and help you develop your next product.
RESIN APPLICATIONS: We can help you identify and evaluate new applications for your resins.
CONTRACT MANUFACTURING - PROTOTYPING: Using our R&D scale equipments, we can produce small quantities of formulations for your R&D proects.
Advanced Polymer Processing
Our innovations have pushed the limits of current state-of-the art coextrusion technology to create nanolayer and microlayer structures with unlimited potential. Synergistic combination of polymer materials to create nano- and micro-layer structures in polymer composites has led to innovative new applications of conventional polymer materials. Creating ordered structures down to 10s of nanometer thickness dramatically alters polymer structure and layer interactions leading to unique property advantages than conventional polymer blends or coextruded structures.

Research Sampling
Compounding and blending: Using our lab scale capabilities, we can process small Quantities ( 10s of lbs) of materials to support your R&D needs.
Film samples: Whether you want small film samples, only a few feet or rolls with 100s of feet, we can support your needs.
Prototypes: We can also support small prototyping needs for R&D projects.
